Happy new year, new district, and new legislative session!

I have big plans for 2023, and soon I’ll be sharing them with you in-depth, but first, let’s take a moment to look back at some of the amazing things we achieved together last year.

In 2022, we:

✅ Expanded speed cameras in school zones

✅ Won the largest increase in CUNY funding in a decade 

✅ Closed a major wage theft loophole

✅ Mandated hospital costs price transparency

✅ Strengthened the state’s sexual harassment laws

✅ Extended protections for 9/11 first responders 

We have some ambitious goals to accomplish together in 2023, including the New York State Working Families Tax Credit, the Childhood Data Privacy & Protection Act, my Freelance Isn’t Free bill and many more. If you share these priorities, I am asking for your support today.

Every single item on that agenda plays an important part in making New York fairer, more affordable, and a place where all of us truly have the opportunity to thrive, improving the lives of everyone in our Brooklyn community.
