Team — Republicans took control of the House only a few days ago. And now, during Week One, they are already attempting to pass three separate measures designed to take away a woman’s right to choose.

My response: Hell. No.

I’m opposing this extreme legislation as loudly and forcefully as I can, but I need your help, friend. Will you sign your name next to mine and let House leaders know you oppose ANY attempt to restrict the right to an abortion?

In the November election, Republicans tried to defeat me by criticizing my support for the right to choose. That didn’t work out so well for them — I was sworn into Congress three days ago. But our work is just beginning.

If we’re going to fight back against these right-wing efforts to take away our basic freedoms, it’s going to take all of us making our voices heard and doing our part.

That’s why I’d be so grateful if you would join my call to action and say loudly and proudly that you will not support any effort to infringe on abortion rights or access in our nation.
