With 2022 in the rear-view mirror, my team and I are reflecting on everything we accomplished in the past year – the lessons we learned, and all the wonderful people we met as we campaigned across the 17th District. We would be remiss if we didn’t recap some of the highlights, so we put together this short video. 

We launched a history-making campaign last year. Along the way, we collected thousands of signatures from community members to get me on the ballot. We met with heroes, like the armed services veterans from Honor Flight of the Quad Cities. We made the case for why we need a trusted local voice representing IL-17 in Congress. And ultimately, YOU elected Illinois’ first-ever openly LGBTQ representative to Congress.

Thanks for standing with us during this exciting year. I look forward to our next two years in Congress and beyond.
