The GOP's struggle to unite behind a speaker should remind you that Republicans have no interest in working for the American people – they only care about advancing their far-right agenda.

Meanwhile, Democrats were unified from the start in supporting Hakeem Jeffries, who is now poised to make history as the first Black lawmaker to lead a political party in Congress. 

In the past two years, Democrats passed the American Rescue Plan and the Inflation Reduction Act, while the GOP spread conspiracy theories about the 2020 election to undermine our democracy.
