John, Today, the Delaware General Assembly convened for the new session and administered the Oath of Office to our new lawmakers.
In 2022’s elections, we were able to solidify our majorities in both chambers of the General Assembly largely thanks to your support. When they gavel in at Legislative Hall later today our legislators will have a chance to showcase just what Democratic leadership can accomplish. Just last session Democrats were able to pass paid family leave, expand abortion access, and enact common-sense gun safety measures. Now we’re headed into a new session with new opportunities to better the lives of everyone who calls Delaware home.
