Sam here. We’re off to a great start this year in no small part because of this team! I hope you’ll give me a few minutes to explain exactly what a donation to the DNC helps support, and consider making a gift today.

The DNC is funded by grassroots donors, which means that folks chipping in $5, $10, or whatever they can afford, whenever they can, is how we power our important investments and programs across the country.

Donations made to the DNC today help support four critical areas necessary to electing Democrats nationwide. Take a look:

1. Campaigns and State Parties: Donations help ensure our partners on the ground have everything they need to maintain strong and consistent resources and presence in every state. Every year, millions of dollars are given to guarantee investments in grassroots infrastructure such as staff, tools, local events, ads, and relevant programming.

When you donate to the DNC, it’s this type of fund that puts Republicans on the defensive and builds tailored programs and political power across the country, including in traditionally red states, helping to ensure that Democrats can compete and win everywhere no matter what.

3. Voter Protection: Thanks to this team, the DNC made historic investments in voter education, protection, registration, and the technology that powers it all. We now have a monitored voter assistance hotline, election toolkits, webinars that focus on protecting everyone’s voting rights, and legal help defending the right to vote in every election.

4. State-of-the-Art Data and Technology Infrastructure: Digital infrastructure powers nearly every Democratic campaign. This is the brain of the operation, but it requires investments that candidates don’t have at their disposal. That’s where your support comes in: When you donate, the DNC can help effectively power these campaigns.
