John, this weekend was big for Kevin McCarthy.
His Republicans officially reclaimed control of the House -- and he was formally elected as the next Speaker.
It’s sickening, John. Just take a look at McCarthy’s track record:
– He supported efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
– He tried to derail investigations into January 6.
– And he opposed bipartisan efforts to hold Trump accountable for his reckless actions as President.
So now that Republicans control the House, we need to know where our grassroots Democrats stand.
