I try not to ask too often for your financial support. We try hard to use these emails to share helpful information about our city and what my office is doing to make life better for New Yorkers.

But at the end of this week, on January 13, we’re hitting our first official New York City Campaign Finance Board deadline of 2023, and we’ll need a lot of donations from supporters like you if we are going to post strong fundraising numbers.

So I hope you can make a contribution to support my re-election campaign for comptroller in advance of this deadline. Any contribution you make as a New York City resident, up to $250, will be matched 8x by the city.

I reached out recently to tell you about all the important projects our office hopes to tackle this year, like addressing the vacancy crisis in city employment, confronting the affordable housing crisis, and preparing our city for the impacts of climate change.

Advancing these goals to make city government work better for New Yorkers is why I'm excited to go to work every day. But as we get closer and closer to our next election, the reality is we also have to start building up resources for a successful re-election campaign.

So I thought it important that I reach out to ask directly for your contribution.
