Happy New Year, John!

As announced at the 2022 Leadership Summit, Michael Farris has officially returned to COS! Welcome back, Dr. Farris. We are looking forward to locking arms with you once again in the fight for liberty!

With that, I wanted to send you all a quick note to update you on some key activity happening nationwide. While state legislatures begin considering the COS Resolution, our teams are working on the ground to surge their capitols and provide legislators with pro-COS materials.

For this effort, we developed a brand new Convention of States Surge Doc, which is currently being printed and distributed by our grassroots activists for distribution in every state capitol across America!

John, in the first four days of the new year, three states have already filed our resolution: Montana, New Hampshire, and Virginia. NH assigned it to the House Committee on State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs and VA assigned it to the Senate Committee on Privileges and Elections with 15 co-sponsors in the House. These states represent just the tip of the iceberg of our kick-off activity this year!

Additionally, our teams are criss-crossing the nation to meet with freshmen and senior legislators and grassroots teams across the country. Mark Meckler, Rick Santorum, and Michael Farris will soon be hosting meetings and town halls in fertile legislatures in order to gain support for America’s first Article V Convention of States.

John, we are confident that our new Surge Document, paired with in-person constituent meetings, will be an important part of our victory strategy in many key states.
