RON DESANTIS SWORN IN FOR SECOND TERM AS FLORIDA’S 46TH GOVERNOR

On Tuesday, January 3, 2023, and amid thunderous applause, Ron DeSantis was sworn in for his second term as Florida’s 46thGovernor. Joined by First Lady Casey DeSantis and children Madison, Mason and Mamie, Governor DeSantis held the historic Aitken Bible – also known as the Bible of the Revolution and on loan from Glenn Beck – the same bible on which our country’s great patriots swore their allegiance in the days of our nation’s founding. Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Carlos G. Muñiz delivered the oath of office to Governor DeSantis.

Also sworn in were Lt. Governor Jeanette Nuñez, Attorney General Ashley Moody, Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis, and Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson.
