Hi,
GOP Congressmen Paul Gosar and Derrick Van Orden may not be
constitutionally fit to serve in Congress because of their role in the
January 6 insurrection.^1
Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is clear: No
elected official who previously swore an oath to the Constitution may
serve if they "engaged in insurrection or rebellion" against the U.S.
government. And there’s evidence of Gosar and Van Orden’s roles in the 1/6
insurrection.^2 They must be investigated immediately.

to their role in January 6th.

Beyond Gosar and Van Orden, there are at least five state legislators who
must be investigated for their roles in the January 6 attack on the
Capitol.
North Carolina State Rep. Donnie Loftis, who confirmed that he was at the
U.S. Capitol on January 6th, wrote in now-deleted social media posts that
he “was at the entrance when they breached the door.”^3
Arizona Rep. Paul Gosar intimidated officials responsible for processing
the election results, embraced violent alt-right groups and advanced
extra-legal efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.^4
To protect our democracy and constitution, we must investigate these
elected officials to see if their actions related to the January 6
insurrection are directly in conflict with the oath of office.
