Two years ago today, the Colorado Turnout Project was formed to hold extremists, insurrectionists, and proponents of Trump's Big Lie accountable.

Trump and his allies have not yet been held accountable for their role in instigating the riot—including the Members of Congress who communicated with the organizers of the riot and the effort to overturn a legitimate democratic election. And two years later, there still has not been enough of a political price exacted on those who continue to support the anti-democratic and fascist wing of the Republican Party.

The Colorado Turnout Project was formed for this very purpose: to ensure that insurrectionists like Lauren Boebert pay a political price for their treason.

And we have seen some fantastic results from our collective effort: last November, Boebert nearly lost to a first-time candidate in a district that actually became MORE favorable to her after redistricting. She is politically weak and vulnerable, and the more she seeks the spotlight in the GOP's highly dysfunctional control of the House, the easier it will be to unseat her next year.

Looking forward, we will work even harder to toss Boebert out—in addition to standing strong to defend Rep. Yadira Caraveo in the 8th District, and turning our attention to Doug Lamborn and Ken Buck, who deserve scrutiny for their extremism and slavish loyalty to Donald Trump.
