John —

In a few moments, I’m going to ask you to add a donation to my United States Senate campaign ahead of our very first fundraising deadline of 2020. This is an all-important test of our momentum and whether or not we can sustain it in the new year — which is why I’m reaching out today. But first, I owe you an explanation.

With several public polls showing our campaign ahead of our Republican opponent, Thom Tillis, outside groups and special interests are already pouring money into North Carolina in an effort to buy this Senate seat.

Washington Republicans are afraid of us winning this election, sending their lapdog packing, and putting this Senate seat back in your hands — not theirs.

As I travel the state, one thing is abundantly clear: Our message of taking on the political corruption plaguing Washington is resonating with voters. The people of North Carolina are sick and tired of leaders like Thom Tillis working against their best interests — that’s why thousands of supporters from every single county in our state decided to join our campaign last year. And I’m grateful for it.

But we can’t afford to rest on our laurels quite yet. It’s going to be a steep climb to raise as much as we can before November, but I believe we can do it if enough of us come together over the next few days before our first fundraising deadline of the year expires in 48 hours.

So, here comes the part where I need to ask for your help:

Will you add a contribution of $10 or more to my campaign for United States Senate in North Carolina? We need to grow and sustain our momentum as we begin this critical election year. Pitch in today, if you can.

CONTRIBUTE NOW: [link removed]

Ours is a campaign powered by a lot of people standing up for what’s right, not the corporate PACs that are already more than well-represented in Washington. I am running to take on the political corruption that stands in the way of progress on the most important issues of our time — are you with me, John?

Thanks for reading. And thanks for all you do.

— Cal
