John,
Yesterday, the Kansas legislature reconvened for the 2020 session. I am hopeful and ready to work with legislators from both parties to ensure we can continue to move our state forward. As always, I remain committed to fighting for the issues that matter most to you -- investing in education, expanding KanCare, and protecting our economy.
But in order to stay on track to spread my plans for Kansas' future to every corner of the state, we need to make sure we hit every goal we set -- starting with our first mid-month fundraising goal of the new year. Will you pitch in now to help us hit our $10,000 goal?

It's never been more important that we work together to expand opportunities for all Kansans.
This new year and new legislative session is our chance to come together to find practical and pragmatic solutions to better Kansas -- but I can't do it alone. As I remain committed to moving our state forward, I need to know you're by my side.
Please, chip in $5 or more right now to help us hit our $10,000 mid-month fundraising goal before midnight on Thursday.

Thank you,
Laura
