John -

You have often heard me say, the U.S. leads and the world follows. This
applies to both the good and the bad, and this past weekend we saw what
happens when extremists look to the U.S. for leadership and what can
transpire.

A group of radical right-wing terrorists stormed Brazil's capitol, its
Supreme Court, and its Presidential palace and tried to overthrow Brazil's
democratically elected government. In a very rare sign of bipartisanship
here in the U.S., Democrats and Republicans joined together to issue
statements denouncing the terrorists.

Even Brazil's former President George Santos joined in condemning the
attacks before he was reminded he is actually under criminal investigation
in Brazil. The irony is not lost on me either, but this is what we are
facing in 2023.

John, I would be lying to you if I didn't say I was
worried...the truth is I am terrified. We are officially on the clock in a
Presidential cycle and unlike last time we don't have adults in charge of
our government. The power that Marge, Gaetz, Boebert, and Gosar have is
scary. They control the House of Representatives. They only represent a
small fraction of this country and yet what they say goes. That's what
happens when you have a leader like Kevin the Coward McCarthy. Just like
Trump, McCarthy is shameless, holds no values or principles, and is only
motivated by self-interest and power.

I can see that everyone is fed up with politics, but does that mean we are
giving up on our country and letting the extremists win? I fought for this
country, and my brothers and sisters and I put our lives on the line for
Democracy. We never complained and said we were tired or "over it" like I
am hearing all too often on social media and in my personal interactions
day to day. I guarantee you the other side is not giving up, our troops
are not giving up, and I know you are not either John.

Now is the time we show what we are made of.
Now is the time we take the big step to take back the house in 2024.
The Take back the house fund is the most important fund we at No Dem Left
Behind have ever launched, and I need everyone who can pitch in to do
exactly that, and do it right now.

We set a goal of $13,500 to be raised by the end of the week towards this
fund.

Our average donation is just over $24, so [ [link removed] ]I am asking you to pitch in
$24.24 towards the Take back the House fund today, and if you are in a
position to do so [ [link removed] ]make it a monthly contribution.

We are not going to let up, not now, not ever.

Airborne all the way!
