Friend,
Every day, New Jerseyans face the hardships of caring for a sick loved one. The battles with hospitals, insurance companies, and other medical providers never seem to end. And if you are not lucky enough to have a support system, then you are doing it alone.
Thankfully, I had a strong support system in place in 2006 when I learned that my husband, Ken, was diagnosed with Early-Onset Alzheimers. But even with insurance, out of pocket health care costs nearly exceeded my salary, and we always had to battle to get the best quality care.
Seemingly overnight, my life with my husband and three children, then aged 3,6, and 12 became an unimaginable challenge, and over the next four years, I faced the tough decisions and the emotional and mental taxation that comes when you are caring for a sick, dying or aging loved one.
This is the experience of real Americans. And South Jersey deserves someone in Congress who understands these experiences because they have lived them -- who will fight for health care and advocate for caregivers.
I need your help so that I can bring my experiences and my advocacy to Washington, DC. Please donate to our campaign today to help me get to Congress.

We need a real leader who has faced life’s challenges and has emerged stronger, ready to stand up for the people of South Jersey, not a career politician like Jeff Van Drew who puts politics before people.
It is time for new leadership for South Jersey in Congress.
Join me!
Thank you,
Brigid
