Sharing Peace-Based Skills with the Families We Serve. January 11, 2023, 2:00 PM ET
Founder of Pax in Familia, Dr. Christauria Welland, a Catholic psychologist with more than 25 years of experience working separately with survivors as well as those who use abuse will share effective strategies that have helped people learn and use peace-based behaviors. She will briefly describe neurological processes of emotional regulation. Participants will learn several personal and relational consequences of not knowing basic self-management and violence prevention skills to enhance family relationships. Particiants will practice skills and receive a copy of the presentation to teach to families they serve.
This webinar offers 1.0 Continuing Education Credit. To earn CE credit, participants must log in at the scheduled time, attend the webinar and complete an online course evaluation and CEC post-test. Certificates of credit will be emailed within 10 business days of each course completion.

Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) invite you to join the Financial Empowerment Capacity Building Youth and Family two-part webinar series. This series will present approaches, information, tools, curricula, and more for working with families. Part I focuses on family strategies and resources that parents can use, caregivers, and caseworkers in their direct work with families. Part II focuses on developmental frameworks and resources for youth and children. All CFPB resources are free. Registrants will receive web links and PDF resources to help build their skills and better support financial wellness with the communities and families they serve.
