94th General Assembly Starts Today   RPA 94th General Assembly Pre-Session Brief It's a new day in Arkansas! Today the 94th General Assembly convenes in Little Rock. Republicans hold 82/100 seats in the State House and 29/35 seats in the State Senate, and tomorrow, Arkansas will have a new Governor: Sarah Huckabee Sanders! Your legislators will take their oaths of office today and they are ready to go to work for bold, conservative reforms; reforms like parental choice in education, making sure violent and repeat criminals serve their prison sentences, and working to eliminate our state income tax. What can you do for your part? Make sure your voice is heard during this legislative session. You can visit arkleg.state.ar.us for updates to the Session's calendar and to watch live. You can also call the House Switchboard (501) 682-6211 or the Senate Switchboard (501) 682-2902 while each legislative body is in session to leave a message for your legislator.
