Dear Comrade,

Don't report for picket duty tomorrow! AEA and APS have reached a tentative agreement. Now the union members have to learn the details of the deal negotiated by their bargaining team and vote to accept or reject it. However, the fight for safe schools isn't over.

AEA is asking that the community still rally Monday night 1/9 at 4:30 before the Board of Education administrative building (10 North High Street) to rally for safe schools. I will be bringing signs to share. Dress for the weather and carpool if you can, as parking near the building will be limited. As always, please be respectful of the wishes of the workers at this event and try to meet new people. It will take time and solidarity for our community to address the many issues in our schools. Your continued support is greatly appreciated. Please respond to this email with any questions.
