The best part about running for office is getting to learn from Alaskans. Last week I met with business owners, a group of pilots, educators, and a statewide consortium working to ensure our educational system is growing Alaskan adults ready for the workforce needs in our state.

Along with reaching voters each week, I regularly meet with business, healthcare, education sector leaders learning about what a strong federal partner needs to do. Listening to experts and leaders in the fields that matter to Alaskans is extremely important to me, and each meeting has given a better insight into solutions that will make government work better for Alaska.

I’ll talk with every Alaskan, whether they are Democrat, Republican or Independent because we need to hear from everyone to make progress in this state and nation. We have too many families struggling to not work together towards positive change.

While others worry about putting party first, my campaign is all about putting solutions first.

In order to make that change possible, we need the resources to win. Our mid-month deadline is tomorrow and we’ve set a $3,000 goal. Will you help us hit it by contributing today?
