Happy New Year! Needless to say, it has been a busy and historic week.



I am glad that we have elected a Speaker and can now move forward as a
majority united. I look forward to getting to work on the serious issues facing
our country today, such as the crisis at the southern border, runaway
government spending, and the desperate need to hold this administration
accountable. Last fall, House Republicans made a Commitment to America. Now
that we have a Speaker, we can get to work.



Monday is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. I would like to give an early, but
well-deserved, thank you to the men and women of law enforcement for all that
you do to protect our communities!
