Last month, he pardoned thousands of Americans convicted of simple marijuana possession under federal law and took the first steps to reforming these unjust laws.

This major set of reforms represents a big step toward making our country more fair and equitable. His decision is about listening to experts, reuniting families, and making sure everyone has access to the housing, jobs, and schooling they deserve. And marijuana reform is one of those few issues on which the overwhelming majority of Americans agree – Democrats, Republicans, and independents.
