Friends,

Last week I got back to work in Washington on behalf of Granite Staters in the First District. We’ve been quite busy so far, and we have some important policy decisions ahead of us.

In Congress I’ve been focusing on issues like PFAS contamination, the cost of healthcare and prescription drugs, and ending the dominance of dark money in our political systems.

Unfortunately we know national Republican super PACs and big corporate donors do not want me in office -- and they’ll funnel outside money into the state to make massive ad buys against me.

They know I’m running in one of the most competitive swing districts in the country and that the district hasn’t re-elected a representative since 2008 as you can see in the chart below.

Alt text for screen readers: Image that says "New Hampshire’s First District "the swingiest district in the nation" according to NBC News. There is a timeline that shows that the district has not re-elected members of Congress since 2008. In 2016 the district elected a Democrat, but Trump carried the seat. Then in 2018 I won my race. In 2020 we have the chance to break the trend and keep this seat blue.

We can break that pattern this November, but I need you with me every step of the way if we’re going to hit the goals we need to win what NBC News has called “the swingiest district in the nation.”

Right now we are still $1,640 short of our daily fundraising goal, and we need to make up the difference if we’re going to stay on track for a strong January.

Will you help me continue fighting for our neighbors across the district by pitching in any amount you can now? Here’s the link to stand up to the powerful special interest groups trying to halt our progress: [link removed]

Thank you,
Chris
