We may have entered a new year, but our mission remains the same: empowering the Commonwealth’s historically disenfranchised communities of immigrants, youth, Black, Indigenous, and other people of color to make their voices heard in our state government.
2023 may not have quite the same stakes as last year, but in no way does that mean it is an “off-year.” Every year is a new opportunity to work towards a Commonwealth that works for ALL Pennsylvanians.
We are one of the only organizations in Pennsylvania doing voter registration year-round, and we will be out in full force all throughout 2023 to uplift our communities, better our system, protect our rights, and so much more — but we need you in our corner to do it.

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in underrepresented immigrant communities and communities of color. We register communities to vote, provide civic education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize Pennsylvanians to vote in every election.
