Although we may not see eye to eye on the issues, we want to send our thoughts and prayers out to Senator Bob Casey, who recently announced that he's been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Senator Casey, a Democrat, has served as Pennsylvania's Senator since 2007. Regardless of what side of the aisle, we wish all of our elected officials good health, including Senator Casey. He will undergo surgery in the near-future, and doctors expect him to make a full recovery.

We wish Senator Casey the best of luck and are praying for his health and speedy recovery!

With the news of the compromise vote to install Rozzi as Speaker of the House as an independent voice, that increases the importance of the 3 vacant House of Representative seats which are up for Special Elections very soon. Lawmakers are still debating when elections for the 34th and 35th districts will take place, but the Special Election for the 32nd District is set for February 7th!

The race to fill the vacant seat in the PA Senate's 27th District is heating up. As we previously noted, the Republican pick for the race is House Rep Lynda Schlegel Culver. She will face off against Democrat Patricia Lawton on Election Day January 31st. We have only 3 weeks to fight for Republicans to increase our lead in the Senate, pitch in your support now!
