It’s sad to say that we’re not surprised when Steve King says something racist, hateful, or downright wrong.

After all, it was a year ago today that he was kicked off all his congressional committees by his own party for saying “White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization -- how did that language become offensive?”

Since then, Steve King has done nothing to help his constituents facing shrinking markets and farm bankruptcies. He hasn’t defended us in the trade war, hasn’t stepped up to make the tax code work for our neighbors, and hasn’t lived up to the Iowa values that we live by here.

He spends his time on the House floor pushing conspiracy theories instead of fighting for us. It’s time for him to go.

In Congress, I promise to serve the people of my district honorably and treat all people with decency and respect.
