Next Tuesday, the Commonwealth faces another critical fight. In the special election for Virginia’s 7th Senate District, voters have the chance to elect Aaron Rouse – a fierce defender of a woman’s right to choose, a fighter for commonsense gun control, and a staunch defender of voting rights.

A Democratic win in the 7th District would expand Democrats’ slim majority, but if his Republican opponent secures the seat, they’re one step closer to enacting a dangerous right-wing agenda in Virginia Beach.

So I’m asking: Will you pitch in $5 right now so we can do everything we can to get out the vote and help send Aaron Rouse to the State Senate?

We can’t sit back and allow Republicans to pick up this seat. Electing Aaron Rouse means electing proactive, effective leadership for Virginia.
