Friend,

Yesterday, I was sworn in to serve a full term as California Attorney General.

I want to thank you, friend, because I didn’t get here alone. You’ve been with me every step of the way.

With your support, over the last two years, we secured some of the strongest new protections for reproductive rights in our nation. We sued Big Polluters, won against Big Tobacco, and secured billions of dollars from Big Pharma for harming our communities. We took historic steps to fight hate, tackle the housing crisis, dismantle organized crime, and bring a new wave of transparency and trust to our justice system.

But our work isn’t done.

Steep injustices persist. They need to be fixed.

Big corporations continue to harm our families — putting profits over people. They need to be held to account.

Radical politicians continue to pass laws across the nation that undermine our fundamental rights, our freedom to choose, and even our democracy. They need to be challenged in court.

There is no shortage of tasks ahead, but together we’ll continue to protect what matters most — our values and our families.

As I enter this new term, and as we continue our fight, I’m so grateful to have you by my side.
