Happy New Year!
We're starting the year off with three opportunities for you to help advance advocacy efforts, learn from a distinguished panel, and gather at Indeed Brewery to benefit ILCM.
Join us online on January 13 from 8am to 9am CDT to learn from these distinguished speakers what you need to know about new Americans in Minnesota: who they are, what they are contributing, and what they need to stay, thrive, and keep calling Minnesota home. RSVP and share with your networks!

Join us in person at [link removed] Indeed Brewery in Northeast Minneapolis for a fundraiser for ILCM. We were selected as the beneficiary of a portion of proceeds the night of January 18th. The taproom is open 3-11 pm so stop by any time! No RSVP needed. The more people buying beverages, the more money ILCM will get!
Earlier this week, hundreds of immigrants, refugees, and their neighbors from across the state gathered first in the snow on the capitol steps and then into a packed press room and hallways in the basement of the legislature to demand the restoration of Driver's Licenses for All without further delay. At the press conference, Governor Tim Walz and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan stated that the clear need and the moral imperative for the bill was obvious. If you are looking for more background on the movement, check out [link removed] this Sahan Journal article that features my perspective.
Join us in person on January 10th at 6pm for the Driver's Licenses for All House Transportation Committee Hearing where the committee will be taking testimony from community members. We're asking our ILCM advocates to either show up to support or volunteer to testify, particularly if you have connections to the Greater Minnesota and/or business community. mailto:
[email protected] Please respond to this email if you are interested in attending or testifying.
The hearing will be at the Capitol, room to be determined.
Hope to see you at one or all of these events!

ILCM Executive Director
