Neighbors,

The 2023 legislative session convened at the State Capitol on Tuesday, and we are already busy crafting legislation to help improve the lives of Minnesotans. This term I have the privilege of chairing the Education Policy [ [link removed] ] Committee and we held our first hearing [ [link removed] ] this week. Additionally, I will serve on the Education Finance [ [link removed] ] and Human Services Finance [ [link removed] ] committees.

Today marks the second anniversary of the violent attack on the United States Capitol and attempts to block the certification of the presidential election. I look forward to voting on legislation to shore up protections for voters and election workers. Election [ [link removed] ] priorities will make Minnesota a stronger state.
