Howdy Texan,

This week, we kicked off the 118^th Congress. While the vote for the new Speaker of the House is ongoing, one thing is clear, the American people voted for a Republican majority in the House to put an end to President Biden's damaging agenda. I am confident that House Republicans will unite for that common goal.

With a new Congress and new congressional districts, I have many new constituents, so I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my office, and the services we offer.

As we kick off the 118th Congress, it is important you know who represents you. My district, TX-31, now includes the following counties: Bosque, Burnet, Coryell, Hamilton, and parts of Bell and Williamson. Since redistricting, you may have a different representative than last Congress.

ABOUT ME

I am your U.S. Representative John Carter. Some of you may know me as “Judge” because of the time I served as judge of the 277th District Court in Williamson County. I serve on the House Appropriations Committee and the Steering Committee, which determines what House committees Republican members will sit on. Behind being a father and a husband, serving Central Texans in the United States House is my greatest honor.
