Friend,
This week, two HUGE pieces of news broke about the future of abortion pills: Abortion pills can be dispensed at pharmacies AND the Postal Service may deliver abortion pills in any state.
Abortion bans remain in effect in many states, but these new rulings from the FDA and the Justice Department will still increase the accessibility of medication abortion to many patients across the country.
And in the direst situations, patients will no longer have to drive long distances for an exam or wait days to obtain vital medication.
Friend, stand with us and add your name if you agree that ALL patients should be able to easily access the reproductive care they need, including abortion pills!
According to the Guttmacher Institute, more than half of abortions in this country are performed with abortion pills, not to mention their use during miscarriages and other reproductive care.
Make no mistake: these rulings are a huge win for people who need access to abortion pills, but we know anti-abortion extremists across the country will challenge these rulings, and a future presidential administration or attorney general could even rescind them. We also continue to see attacks on abortion access at the state level, and at least 14 states have total or near total abortion bans in effect.
These pills are safe and necessary. Add your name if you agree that everyone should be able to easily access them no matter what state they’re in.
Thank you for standing with us,
