These big accomplishments, including re-electing Gov. Tony Evers and Attorney General Josh Kaul, are worth celebrating. But, we have important work ahead of us.
Important is an understatement, actually. The Wisconsin State Supreme Court race is essential to make real progress on our issues. Most importantly, it’s our best chance to finally achieve fair voting maps that don’t crown anti-conservation politicians kings of their counties even before elections are held.

We hear so much baloney about elections from the MAGA extremist wing of our state legislature. But, the facts are the facts. The real cheating lies in the absurd set of district maps designed by Scott Walker’s old cabal and Robin Vos along with his corporate cronies. The maps are meant to crown unelected kings rather than fairly chosen representatives from our communities.
The maps keep unpopular, extreme, and out of touch politicians in power. These absurd maps have been called the most gerrymandered in the country. It’s embarrassing for our state. These maps are denying us the freedom to select our representatives in state government and fairly make our voices heard. This leads to a lack of accountability for government officials and gives the extremist few a hugely outsized position of influence in our state.

Right now, the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s current make-up is dominated by partisan extremists more interested in taking marching orders from the Vos-led legislature than correctly interpreting the state constitution. This April 4, we have an opportunity to elect a justice who will adhere to the state constitution and the rule of law rather than bend to the influence of corporate polluters and racist lawmakers. The radicals determined to exploit our natural resources and disenfranchise voters can finally face consequences for their actions.

We need you. We need your action, your financial support, and your vote. You’ve done it before. We elected Justice Jill Karofsky by a wide margin over extremist Dan Kelly a few years back – and with your help we will do it again. It is possible if we do it together.
