Friends —

Last night, Ilhan joined Alex Wagner on MSNBC, asking some important questions of Kevin McCarthy — who after 13 ballots and nearly 4 days, still doesn't have the votes to become Speaker of the House.

Hear what Ilhan had to say below, and then make a contribution to stand with her and support the important work our movement has ahead of us:

What does it say about Kevin McCarthy when this level of objection to leadership hasn't been seen since the years leading up to the Civil War?

Objections people were making because they couldn't agree on slavery?

How many months does this man want us to be subjected to not being sworn in?

How long will we go without the House being organized or able to legislate?

How many failed votes is he going to sit through?

What we're seeing from the Republicans this week is chaos beyond chaos, and a sign of the level of arrogance they're willing to stoop to.

As Ilhan said last night,"At some point it has to become bigger than you. It has to become about the American people."

If you agree with Ilhan and think it's time Kevin McCarthy wake up to reality, hear what she had to say on MSNBC, and then make a donation to support her work in Congress.

As always, thank you for being with us.

In solidarity,

Team Ilhan
