Friend,
On the anniversary of the horrible insurrection on our Capitol, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the Capitol police officers, members of local law enforcement and the brave folks serving in our military that stood up for our democracy that day. I also want to thank the Republicans and Democrats that worked together on the January 6th committee to ensure Americans had access to the facts of what happened leading up to and on that day.
It just goes to show that when Congress comes together to get a job done, the results can be outstanding. We need more of that, not less, in this new year.
That’s why I’m focused on making progress on some of the most consequential issues Montana families are facing right now — from providing affordable housing, to creating good jobs, to lowering costs at the grocery store, we can do a lot of good this year.
But it will only happen if members of Congress take their jobs seriously, and come to Washington to do what they were elected to do: Work together to make lives better for the American people.
So I’m back to work, criss-crossing Montana to talk to folks — whether they voted for me or not — about what’s on their minds. I work for Montanans, not special interests, so holding town halls and meeting with voters is critical to doing my job well.
Can you chip in now to support my work, folks? I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important, but donations to emails like these are how I’m able to do everything I need to in order to serve Montana well.

Thanks for always having my back,
Jon
