This is insanity, friend!

The Republican Party is in chaos. Trump's lackey Kevin McCarthy has repeatedly failed to muster the votes necessary to be elected speaker of the House.

This is the first time in 100 YEARS that a speaker hasn't been elected on the first vote. This is truly historic incompetence, friend.

As much as I'd like to relish this moment and watch them lead themselves down into the dark abyss – I can't.

Because here's the god-awful truth: Democrats can't get to work until the GOP gets their act together and elects a speaker.

I'm angry. The GOP has made it impossible to help and serve folks across the country. Republicans don't represent the American people. They can't even represent themselves and their own selfish agenda.
