Earlier this week, we celebrated something that hasn’t occurred since the 1970s – Democrats holding the offices of Governor, Secretary of State and Attorney General all at the same time.
But that’s exactly where we’re at right now with Governor Katie Hobbs, Secretary of State Adrian Fontes and Attorney General Kris Mayes.
It’s a reason for celebration – but also a reason for us to stay alert. The AZ GOP responded poorly to their recent defeats, in multiple ways. We know that means when the legislative session starts on Monday, they’ll try everything they can to negate our successes.
That’s why we have to fight back, and make sure we support Gov. Hobbs, Secretary Fontes, and Attorney General Mayes in their efforts to make Arizona a better place for all Arizonans.
Team, it’s going to take resources to combat the bad behavior and lies the AZ GOP is sure to unleash on our three newly elected officials.
