It’s the two-year anniversary of one of the darkest days in our democracy’s history.

In a seditious act of terrorism, Donald Trump and his Republicans incited a white supremacist mob to storm our Capitol.

It was despicable to watch.

But our House Democrats knew Trump must be held accountable for his actions -- so they made sure he’d go down in history as the only president to be impeached TWICE.

That moment, and everything that’s happened since, have shown just how critical our Democratic House Majority was – and how important it is that we fight to win it back with everything we have.

Kevin McCarthy and his House Republicans have made it clear their true loyalty lies with Donald Trump, not with our democracy.
