At this moment two years ago today, we watched in horror as Rioters infiltrated the United States Capitol - all in an attempt to halt the democratic process. 

Those on the frontlines lost their lives. Dozens were injured. And our democracy was dealt an indelible scar that will forever cloud our nation’s history. 

Almost immediately afterwards, we saw the cowardice of Trump’s GOP as they refused to hold him accountable. And even worse, many doubled down on the Big Lie by running on the sole platform that the election was stolen. 

One after the other, these election-deniers won their primaries and were inches from winning critical races, including the Office of the Secretary of State in multiple swing states. 

But folks, they failed last November. Voters rejected those who vowed to subvert our democracy. Our candidates won.  

As we look back on the last two years, we must recognize that our democracy is fragile - and it’s still under threat. Election deniers are still active. And they’re already gearing up for 2024. We must lay the groundwork now to defeat them.
