John,
Today is the two year anniversary of the deadly insurrection at our nation’s Capitol.
Thanks to the bipartisan January 6th investigation committee, we’re one step closer to justice.
But all of those who were responsible still haven’t been held accountable.
Republican members of Congress supported Trump’s Big Lie and tried to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Now, we need to take action to ensure these elected officials don’t undermine our democracy again.
By invoking the 14th Amendment, Congress would have the power to ban insurrectionists from public office.
Anyone who wants to harm our democracy has no place in government, but we want to hear from you: Do you think the 14th Amendment should be used to expel those involved in the January 6th insurrection from public office?
By taking action, we’re protecting our democracy today and every day.
