Still looking for a great New Year’s resolution? Right now, vulnerable bees need your help more than ever -- this is the last year before the EPA must decide if it will approve bee-toxic neonics. If they are approved for another 15 years, neonic pesticides will continue to drive wild bees toward EXTINCTION: Help save them from an unimaginable fate and donate $27 by 11:59pm TONIGHT to help us reach our $2,320 goal!

Bee-toxic pesticides like neonics can impact bees’ navigational and reproductive abilities and even directly kill them, but these pesticides are still widely produced by companies like Bayer-Monsanto and are used in agriculture. We’re seeing the impacts, Friend -- many wild bee species are on the brink of extinction, and beekeepers lost nearly half of their hives last year.

In fact, since the 1990s, U.S. agriculture has become nearly 48 times more toxic to insect life -- and neonics like those that Bayer-Monsanto produce account for a staggering 92% of the increase in toxicity. Our pollinators don’t stand a chance against this onslaught of toxicity -- unless we act now.

Help save vulnerable bees this year and stop the EPA from approving bee-toxic neonics. Rush your $27 donation before it’s too late for bees and our planet.

Bees play a crucial role in their ecosystems. Nearly 90% of wild flowering plant species on the planet require pollinators to aid in reproduction. Many of these plants provide crucial habitat and food for countless other species.

What’s more, one out of three bites of food we eat depends on pollinators like bees. If populations of bees and other vulnerable wild pollinators continue to spiral downward, foods like nuts, fruits, chocolate, and even coffee could become rarities.

There’s no mystery here. Study after study has found that the massive use of pesticides, like Bayer-Monsanto's bee-toxic neonicotinoids, are key drivers in the decimation of pollinators.

But pollinator-killers like Bayer-Monsanto are sweeping their lethal impact under the rug -- and the United States EPA is giving them a free pass, allowing for regulations that lead to widespread use of toxic pesticides instead of shifting away from chemicals we KNOW are killing massive numbers of bees.

We must act NOW to protect our health and ensure that we are not the last generation to share the planet with countless species of wild bees. The EPA could step up and ban these toxic pesticides -- but we need your help to push it to act.

Our bees, health, and planet are on the line. Donate $27 by midnight tonight to help us reach our $2,320 goal!

Friends of the Earth is fighting tooth and nail to ban neonics and other toxic bee-killing pesticides across the country. We are also pushing major grocers to stop selling food grown with bee-toxic pesticides. And we are campaigning to stop the sale of the toxic weedkiller Roundup by garden retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s.

This fight is not only for wild bees and other critically endangered pollinators but also for our health and for our planet. Many pesticides have been linked to health impacts like cancer, learning disabilities, and reproductive harm. And the disappearance of vast numbers of wild bees could devastate our ecosystems and food system. Yet toxic pesticides are being used across the country -- from our yards and gardens to massive corn fields -- and companies like Bayer-Monsanto are raking in profits, no matter the cost to bees and all of us.

Time and again, pesticide companies have put their profits ahead of our health and the environment. It is up to us to make sure we shift away from toxic pesticides, transform our food system, and safeguard people, pollinators, and our planet.

The choice is yours to make, Friend. I urge you to stand with us as we leverage everything we possibly can to save our bees, pollinators, and planet from this crisis. There is too much at stake to stand on the sidelines. Show your support by rushing your $27 donation to Friends of the Earth today.

Stand up to the pesticide industry and help save bees and other pollinators. Donate $27 before the clock strikes midnight tonight.
