Today marks the two year anniversary of the January 6th attack on the United States Capitol -- one of the darkest days in American history that was an assault on the very foundation of our democracy.

And Friend, the same extremism that fueled that attack is still alive and well -- not just in Washington, but right here in Texas.

Republicans in the Texas legislature continue to take a page straight from the ultra-MAGA playbook: they undermine trust in our elections and attack the sacred right to vote -- all while engaging in meaningless culture wars and demagoguing against our marginalized communities.

This is not the America that we believe in, Friend. This is not the Texas that we love.

That's why we're still fighting back.
