Dear Friend,
2023 is likely to be another hard year. There is so much to focus on: containing the ongoing COVID pandemic, training and supporting health workers, saving lives in humanitarian emergencies, as well as providing maternal, newborn and child health care… just to name a few.
But I know that we will meet these challenges because I saw the impact of our work together in every interaction I had in 2022. Wherever Project HOPE was present, you could see the difference in the care being provided. I saw the gratitude of the doctors and nurses when they received the tools they needed to save more lives. I saw it in a mother’s eyes when her children got better because of therapeutic food we provided.
