Dear friends of Atlas Network,

I hope you’re ready to make 2023 a year of progress for the freedom movement!

I will soon hit a milestone of having worked with Atlas Network for 25 years. I’ve always been incredibly proud of this organization, so it’s very rewarding to look now—with a quarter century of perspective—at how Atlas Network’s budget has grown tenfold during my tenure and how the impact we’re having on the world of ideas is greater than ever before.

The progress we’ve made is because of you. Atlas Network only exists because of the incredible community of independent partners that we serve, as well as the generous donors who share our vision of the freer future we can bring about together.

Atlas Network’s success also comes from the amazing people I get to work alongside every day. I want to inform you of some internal changes that have taken effect this week, which will allow us to continue to scale up our impact.

We’ve adopted a new four-division corporate structure:
* Matt Warner, as President, oversees our core Business Strategy of Coach, Compete, Celebrate.
* Lyall Swim moves to a new role as Chief Innovation Officer, to run our Innovation Lab, which encompasses our five Regional Centers and other special initiatives.
* Katherine Price has been promoted to Chief Operations Officer, to ensure we operate efficiently and spend dollars wisely.
* Chad Goote has been promoted to Chief Development Officer, overseeing our marketing/communications and fundraising efforts so we grow the resources we bring to our mission.

I’m excited about having these four C-suite team members working with me, as well as our longtime Executive VP Tom Palmer, to chart the future of Atlas Network.

As we expand our leadership and refine our business model, our organization is also growing. We’re currently hiring for an Associate Director of our Innovation Lab and an Information Systems Training Manager. You can learn more on our Careers page ([link removed]) .

I also have other staff news to announce:
* Adam Weinberg joined our team in September as our Director of Marketing and Communications. Adam spent several years with our excellent Nebraska-based partner, Platte Institute, and he’s hit the ground running to provide our audiences with a clearer picture of what is being accomplished by our community.
* Carol-Ann Mason is our new C-Suite Executive Assistant, who brings great insights from previous roles in the nonprofit and corporate spaces, as well as a background as a small business owner.
* Vale Sloane has been promoted to Director of Development, providing day-to-day leadership of our fundraising operation.
* Sherry Romello is now our Director of Global Meetings and Events, after years of contracting with our team to make successes of our Regional Liberty Forums.
* Finally, Lachlan Mersky has been promoted to Institute Relations Manager, helping our partners to achieve more through our competitive grants and sharing their wins with our wider network.

It’s a great joy to work with a team as talented and ambitious as the one we have at Atlas Network, and to also benefit from (in my humble opinion) the best Board of Directors in the business.

During this challenging moment in history, you can count on Atlas Network to be your ally in working for a freer and more prosperous world.

We’re looking forward to accomplishing big things with you in 2023!

Best,
