Trust me when I say, I wish we could make this week all about celebrating what we accomplished together in PA.
I still can’t quite believe that just two days ago, I was sworn in as PA’s Junior U.S. Senator. It’s the honor and privilege of a lifetime.
But we’ve gotta take a sec to talk about the clown behavior in the other chamber of Congress. 🤡
Basically, 20 far-right GOP members are refusing to vote with the rest of their party. They’ve literally called a vote 11 TIMES and counting without choosing a Speaker…which means Congress can’t get anything done.
Elected Republicans couldn’t make it more clear, John. They don’t care that they’re wasting time while working people struggle with inflation, below-living wages, + other urgent problems. They don’t care about working people, period.
Ridiculous BS like this is exactly why I ran for U.S. Senate in the first place. If you’re tired of the GOP’s BS + dysfunction, it would mean a lot to me if you could chip in $5 to support my work.
I can’t wait to get actual work done with our Democratic Senate majority, John — especially if it’ll help us take back the House from these clowns in 2024.
