Last chance to dispose of Christmas trees

Groot continues its free collection of Christmas trees through the end of next week on your regularly scheduled garbage day. Place your bare tree, free from lights and decorations, by the curb with your waste and recycling. Do not use a bag or yard waste sticker.?
The free collection ends Jan. 13. Residents who miss this free collection will be required to wait until April when the yard waste program starts up again. A sticker will be required at that time.
