Our answer?
“When it comes to Black candidates, we deal with so many challenges, whether it be voter suppression of our community to issues of gender and racism in terms of voters’ perceptions of Black candidates.”

And for Black women, it’s even worse. Whether it’s the targeted attacks against their appearance or their “lack of experience,” Black women are constantly fighting and overcoming unprecedented challenges. But still, Black women are more likely to receive less donations than their white counterparts. (Want to take a guess why that is?)
John, our biggest takeaway from 2022 is that our Black candidates DEPEND on grassroots donations from supporters like you.
Here at The Collective PAC, we know Black candidates CAN win — but only if we back them with everything we have. Can you chip in even $10 to help us elect MORE Black leaders, and support more Black women, in 2023 and 2024?

We have a plan to help Black candidates win — and it’s working. In the 2022 midterms, we helped elect over 100 Black leaders to political office across the country. But, John, we’ve also seen what happens when our candidates don’t receive the funds or the attention they need to win.
So, our goal for 2024? Start early. Stay engaged.
John, the ONLY way we’ll elect MORE Black Democrats is if we start our ground game today. Can you chip in $10 to make sure we give Black candidates the resources they need — and deserve — to win?

–The Collective PAC
The Collective PAC is strategically focused on creating a truly equitable democracy where our nation’s local, state and federal governments have diverse and talented elected leadership and Black people are fully represented in positions of
power to create the policies necessary to progress our communities forward. Since our inception in 2016, we have helped 110 candidates win general elections at the local, state and federal levels. We strive to support the next wave of
progressive and unapologetic Black candidates who will usher in a sea of change in our political system while helping America fulfill its promise of democracy by creating a government that will truly be for the people and of the people.
