Hi,
It’s time for Congress to go after Big Pharma, Big Tech, and Big Oil. Now
that Democrats hold control of the Senate, they have the power to launch a
coordinated battle with corporate America using their authority in
committees—and it looks like they’re gearing up to do just that.^1
We need to make sure they know we’re counting on them to follow through on
this promise. Americans need protection from predatory big corporations!

Corporate profits hit a 70-year high last year.^2 Meanwhile, Americans
face brutal inflation. Corporate greed is trampling working people, but
Senate Democrats have the opportunity to fight back against big
corporations’ unfair tactics—including monopoly power, influence peddling,
and price gouging.
As incoming chair of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee,
Senator Bernie Sanders plans to investigate price gouging of
pharmaceutical drugs. Senator Richard Blumenthal is in line to become
chair of the Consumer Production and Product Safety Subcommittee and wants
to look into Big Tech; and Senator Sheldon Whitehouse is ready to
investigate energy companies and climate change in the Budget Committee.
We’re urging them on.

Senate majority to investigate corporations in Senate committees with
increased oversight ability and subpoena power!
