This three-phase project consists of a literature review of the historical context of labor trends and systemic barriers to Black women’s employment, a quantitative analysis to understand Black women in the workforce, and a qualitative study to determine the factors fostering or deterring Black women’s economic mobility.
The New Hampshire Women’s Foundation has released its bi-annual report: The Status of Women in New Hampshire, a data-driven report on the well-being of women in the state. Alicia Miller, the Executive Eirector of the Women's Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, and Holly Hankinson, the Women's Fund Advocacy Director, have written an op-ed for The Cincinnati Enquirer, titled State lawmakers need to prioritize policies aimed at women in poverty.
