*Happy New Year!*

new

As we launch into the New Year, we hope it will bring health, wealth, love, joy, and happiness to you and yours! We?d also like to take time to reflect on a couple of Supplier Diversity?s 2022 Accomplishments we are extremely proud of. With the help of our certified business owners, community resource partners, and dedicated staff, we reached the MBE Diverse Spend Goal for the 2nd year in a row with a record setting high spend of 6.34% and $192M in Fiscal Year 2021. We also grew the number of certifications by over 7%, from 1,334 to 1,431 diverse suppliers.

2022 was a banner year! With your help and support, we look forward to continued success in 2023!

*Farewell Evetta*

by

In the January 2022 Newsletter we announced Evetta Sloan would be joining the SDP team. Bittersweet to say, in this January 2023 Newsletter we are announcing Evetta?s Farewell from the Supplier Diversity Program. Her last day with SDP is Friday, January 6, 2023. She truly served the program well and provided outstanding customer service, reflected in the numerous accolades we received praising Evetta?s helpfulness to our business owners. While we are excited for her new career opportunity, she will surely be missed.

We?ll never replace Evetta, but we are beginning the hiring process to fill the Equal Opportunity Specialist Position. If you know someone who is a team player, detail-oriented, has experience serving diverse populations and providing outstanding customer service, please encourage them to apply.
